In the midst of feirce struggle in Iraq tens of millions were forced to leave theri homeland. Specific UN programs for shelter, education and health services were provided for refugees and displaced people. Given the unstable grid and frequent cutoffs, none of these really performed for the people. NEOENERJI engineered and delivered one of the World's biggest solar plant with battery storage in 2015 to UNOPS on behalf of UNICEF, UNESCO and UNFPA. Total installed storage capacity is 10MWh, scattered among 9 solar plants in Iraq. Our works received honor award from UNOPS. We are proud to help millions with their need of sustainable education and health services.
